Visit a Snake Farm (Half Day)

Thailand has a wide variety of snakes. The most fearsome are the venomous kind, including various cobras, kraits and vipers, as well as the offshore dwelling sea snakes. Most snakes find man rather unattractive, it is a rare occurrence that a snake in Thailand will bite anyone. Here, you can keep a safe distance, or get friendly with one of the harmless species. Maybe hang a python round your neck.

Nong Nooch Tropical Gardens(Half Day)

Located about 15 min drive southeast of the city, Nong Nooch has 500 acres of gardens, featuring tropical and temperate plants and is ablaze with colour at all times of the year. The show, lasting 45 minutes features traditional Thai dances and sports such as kickboxing and sword fighting. There is a further 45 minutes programme where elephants perform various routines including bicycle riding and football playing. Around the gardens you may also find chimps collecting coconuts and the odd tiger lolling in the shade.

Trip to Koh Lan Tropical Island (Full Day)

Offshore there are several tropical islands, fringed with palms and surrounded by sparkling sea. This excursion takes you to the largest, Koh Lan. It takes about 25 minutes to reach this Coral Island and the tour includes a trip by glass bottomed boat to view the coral reefs and the colourful fish which make it their home. A Thai lunch is included. Afterwards there is time to laze on the beach, or take a dip in the ocean. Return by boat to the mainland by mid afternoon.

Trip to Million Year Stone Park(Full Day)

During this tour, you will visit a petrified forest. Over an area of 40 acres, gardens have been fashioned round the remains of a former forest, long since turned to stone. Exotic plants and trees abound amongst this landscape; include old Thai style trained trees. There are daily shows at the crocodile farm in the park. In addition, other animals include an albino selection, elephants, camels, lions, tigers and bears. Birds include saris cranes, cassowaries and ostriches.
