Gassan Khuntan Golf Club The newest addition to golf in northern Thailand is the spectacular Gassan Khuntan. About an hour from Chiang Mai, the clubhouse, and the course are first class. The course is overlooked by towering hills and set in semi wooded countryside. There are some magnificent holes with spectacular carries over water including the first, tenth and short eighteenth. All will take your breath away and you’ll feel a real achievement as your ball flies over the trouble.

Santiburi Country Club A short drive from Chiang Rai this course was designed by Robert Trent Jones. It features beautifully sculptured fairways, large bunkers and careful use of water hazards to challenge the golfer. It’s set in low hills and parkland, magnificently maintained and reminiscent of the better courses on the Algarve

Waterford Valley Chiangrai. Set in the hills and overlooking the mountains of northern Thailand, the course is about forty minutes from Chiang Rai. Its peaceful and tranquil and the holes provide an ever evolving challenge involving woodland, hilly terrain and water hazards. It’s a fascinating course to play and a difficult course to score well on.
